I have a passion for the information industry, an industry in flux, and I believe that its challenges will be best tackled by collaboration.
I have worked many industries including: information management, strategy and management consulting, software development, and publishing. I’ve spent the last seven years in product creation and delivery, as Exec. Director of Strategic Product Development and VP of Client Services, before I started my own consulting company.
My focus is now on content providers and the strategic and operational issues that impact them. I have worked with large traditional publishers facing challenges adopting new business models and exploring innovative products and services. Certain issues seem to be ubiquitous in publishing: developing and marketing profitable content products, the changing role of content creators, and supporting an increasing need for customized product offerings.
My interest in content really started in 1987 when I worked for Prodigy Services Company. There I learned that while a great product was critical, timing was everything!
